Hi all,

Folks must have had a great time.  I have been getting emails thanking everyone for the weekend and wondering about when there would be something on the internet.  Soooooooooooooooooo.

Here are the emails I have received.  That whole bunch identified as "the committee" on Friday night as well as more that we may have missed deserve the credit for the successful weekend.  And thanks to all that participated.

Thanks again to all for the great weekend.

The committee:

I continue to be amazed at the quality and breadth of involvement in planning and executing the WHS 50th Reunion.   The other day I had coffee with two WHS grads from earlier years and told them of the events, entertainment, prizes and all.. They said they enjoyed theirs but thought ours sounded so much better organized.  When they saw the book they were overwhelmed and asked to take it home for a few days because they knew so many.

I am convinced the committee could go in to the planning business.  You had just the right balance of scheduled activities and opportunities for hanging out to visit with old friends.  The locations were wonderful for all the events.  I cannot think of anything in the whole week-end that could have been better unless it might have been a little less wind at the time of the picture!

Thank you for a most meaningful event.  It was great to renew old friendships and to take up where we left off.

With sincere appreciation.

Thank you for all the effort and hard work you put into the 50th Reunion -- it was great!

I had a good time with my sister and during all the events. I also traveled to Marshall, MN and Omaha, NE - 2 more sisters and I saw my brother while in W'tn. So, my trip was busy and fun. I was so full of joy to re-connect with my special friends from high school - Donna, Mary Gilbertson (Gilly), Lylah, Carol Skells, Jackie Kruthoff, Mary Drake and Shirley Michaels and many more!

Please pass on my thanks and appreciation to the whole crew who started from scratch and delivered 4 days of entertainment and fun. The book is totally amazing, my family enjoyed reading it too. My brother, Carl Tesch, knows practically everyone in W'tn and the surrounding area and he kept saying " I know this guy/lady or their children" He (my brother is a youngster of 52).

I'll be in touch.............

Wes,

I echo the cudos you and the "committee" have been receiving. It was a great weekend, and so much fun to see all the 'mates again.

I t appeared that everything went off exactly as planned which is remarkable when you think of such a large committee being involved.

My best regards and thanks to all for making the reunion " the best ever".

Wes--

Just not enough thanks for the work you put into making our computerized viewing such a pleasure. My wife and I are enjoying it all so much. Our emotions of times gone by needed to be held in check. Although we sensed a depth of sorrow along with current memories of joy, we still know that God is and has been good to us all.

With time we will probably be able to recognize many faces of the past.

Appreciative of all your efforts--best wishes again!

Our 50th class reunion is now a memory as are so many other things we laughed about and spoke of this past weekend. What a fine class we have. It was so nice to spend time with you and renew old friendships. Thank you so much for attending the reunion members of the class of '56!

A big thank you also to all of you who were so generous to bring door prizes for our "Gifts from the States." We were overwhelmed by all the wonderful gifts. Thank you so much. As a committee member, it was a privilege to help put together a reunion that you could all enjoy and remember as a "special" reunion. Tired? Yes we are, but it was well worth the effort. WE ARE PROUD TO BE THE CLASS OF '56!!!

Dear Wes and all members of the reunion committee,

Thanks so much for your superb effort in planning and implementing our 50th class reunion.
It was an uplifting time to come together after these many years, connecting once again with fellow classmates.  Your commitment to make this a truly enjoyable experience was greatly appreciated.

Dear ...,
Thank you seems like such a simple thing to say for all you did to make the class reunion such a successful event.  It was totally awesome, and I want you to know how much I appreciated it.  The organization and work that went into it had to have been a real task.  So please know how very grateful my husband and I are.  I have enjoyed reading the memory book and am amazed and thrilled with the great contributions our class has made to society.  Needless to say we have much to be proud of and thankful for!
I didn't get to meet ...., but thank her/him too for me, for allowing you to put so much work into this.  I hope you enjoy the rest of the summer and then can start working on the next one.
Thanks all!!!!!!

Hi Wes--

Just another point of interest about your class reunion which I'm sure you all enjoyed.  Thought about you folks much of the time.

Will there be any more pictures and like information that will appear on our computer screen? We never lose interest in an enjoyable past.

Thanks again, Wes, for your kind consideration during your work and planning for this memorable event for your class.

Dear Wes and all the committee;

I was going to write a flowery thank you note, but decided that was not only a bit out of character, I didn't have a minute until today to say thanks!

So I will do it this way. The parts of the reunion that I was able to attend were so wonderfully organized and such fun! Thank you for all--gatherings, school bus ride, lovely dinner, great play, all of it I enjoyed and am grateful for the invitation. When I get back home I will review the memory book and then send on to Marilyn. Blessings to each and all of you. Kathleen Bierne, pbvm
