"WATERTOWN NATIVE 'MOST POWERFUL' Lee Raymond, Watertown High School class of 1956, has been named one of the 10 most powerful people in business by Fortune magazine.
The Christian Science Monitor reported that Raymond, Exxon Mobil, was number six in the list topped only by Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Lee Scott (WalMart), Sanford Weill (Citigroup), and Rupert Murdoch (News Corp.).
Rankings were based on the individuals ability to affect the behavior of others in a company, industry or the world at large, according to the magazine."
That's quite an accomplishment, I would say!!!

Have always loved working with children. |
We retired to South Shore, SD on the shore of Punished Woman's Lake in late 1997. We enjoy small town Dakota living and stay involved in local church, school and community activities. Our newest job is raising and lowering the "stars and stripes" on main street each day. Click on the picture to see them at work.
Son , Robert, and spouse, Trai, live in St. Paul with our granddaughters. Susan and husband, Randy, live in the Chicago area with our grandson and baby granddaughter. They love to visit grandpa and grandma. It is never dull around here when they arrive. We just wish their visits ere more frequent. We enjoy working in our yard and taking long walks on the nature trails in the area. Finally, eating healthy and getting exercise has become a priority. Could we be getting older? No, we are only getting wiser.
I think the get together is a wonderful idea and believe it will have special meaning to all who attend.
