Edwards

Yes, I am retired.  Many years ago when I went into the Air Force (1958) they decided I should be an aviation electronics (avionics) technician. Once around airplanes I was hooked.  I worked on small aircraft avionics for several years as we moved around Montana, South Dakota and Minnesota.  In 1969 I accepted a job with the Federal Aviation Administration as an Aviation Safety Inspector.  We spent 27 years living in Moorhead, Mn while I worked out of Fargo and traveled South Dakota and North Dakota.  After 1989 my duties started to change and I was able to transfer to Minneapolis in 1997.  We moved directly to Litchfield, Mn which is where we wanted to retire.  I lived at my son's out of a suitcase during the week and came home on weekends until I retired at the very end of 1999.

Mary Jo and I married in 1964 and have raised three boys; Mike, Jon and Joel.  Mike and Joel live in Minneapolis and Jon lives in Litchfield.  Jon and Jenny have two girls; Tori and Mari.  Our home is just a mile away from the farm where Mary Jo grew up.
